Researchers from United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) and FAO have jointly developed a Guiding Framework and Toolkit on integrating human mobility and rural livelihood linkages into National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
The Guiding framework presents an overarching approach, with values and actions for driving inclusive, transformative climate action.
The accompanying Toolkit introduces 9 tools for policymakers and practitioners involved in NAP and NDC processes and promotes coordination and coherence between relevant sectoral policies on climate, environment, rural development, agriculture, and human mobility.
