That migration and social policy issues in the EU have been a topic of rigorous debate is not up for question. However, contestation has been rife on the way forward in terms of evolution of migration and social integration policies. This policy brief presents some key arguments on various aspects of migration and social policies of the EU, based on a panel hosted at the University of Pretoria in April 2012.
