About UNU-MERIT/ Maastricht Graduate School of Governance
The Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (MGSoG) is a higher-education institute leading the way in operational, policy-relevant studies and evaluations with ample experience conducting data collection and analysis around the world. MGSoG also provides multi-disciplinary top-academic training in the heart of Europe. In doing so, it builds on the academic resources of the different faculties at Maastricht University as well as those of several foreign partners. In January 2011, the School became part of the United Nations University, strengthening further its international training and research network while building on the expertise of UNU-MERIT.
A core thematic cluster within the institute is the Migration Group whose team of experts has been working for a number of years on research, evaluations and trainings and education on a range of migration-related issues. Our team has a proven track record both in the areas of data collection and management, as well as in data analysis and delivering reports in a timely and efficient manner. Our team members are a regular fixture at global dialogues on migration and development and part of The Hague Process, the Global Forum on Migration and Development and other global initiatives. We are therefore more than adept at delivering high quality research and data analysis and to give clear and accessible policy recommendations.
