This report presents the findings of the IS Academy: Migration and Development survey in Ethiopia. From February to April 2011 a total of 1282 household surveys were collected in 15 different communities in Ethiopia with households with a current migrant, a return migrant, or no experience of international migration. The survey design purposively oversampled households with a migration experience in order to capture differences between households with and without a migration experience. One of the key objectives of this report is therefore to discuss the differences between current migrant, return migrant, and non-migrant households, and remittance receiving and non-receiving households across several development indicators.
