Migration has a strong impact on health. In fact, previous research has demonstrated that physical and mental health, and general well-being, of immigrants is worse than those of insiders. In particular, while mental mental well-being is essential for quality of life and dignity, the mental well-being of immigrants has often been neglected. In addition, research has not paid enough attention to physical and mental health and well-being of persons with disabilities. This project aims to address this issue through conducting research into migration that takes into account health perspectives, and mental health and well-being in particular.
